Find out who is behind the scenes at Simutrans: The Team.Simutrans is a transportation simulator based on Transport Tycoon, but with many more features, all building on Transport Tycoons' success. One of these features is that you can add your own vehicles and buildings, obviously not without some work .Another great improvement is the architecture of Simutrans and it's routing system virtually guarantees that none of your vehicles will become lost or mis-routed.
The player's task is to transport passengers between cities
and a variety of goods to their destinations, using various modes
of transport, including buses, trains and even ships. Goods are
produced by industries from raw materials, sometimes over many
steps of intermediate products. 
I.e. Wood is needed to produce paper at the Paper Mill. This
paper is then transported to a Printing Works where books are
produced, these books are then sold in the cities through a Book
Wholesalers.
You can build very large stations of any size and shape to draw
in as many passengers as you possibly can. You can also aid this
process by using smaller feed routes of buses, remember each and
everyone of the passengers has an individual destination
Hansjörg Malthaner, or Hajo as his is commonly known,
started writing the game game back in 1997,as a way of teaching
himself, with a hands on experience, object-oriented programming.
Since he began various people, from around the world, have become
involved with Simutrans, and have helped Hajo by putting a lot of
effort into creating graphics, helping with programming,
contributing ideas and also testing each new release, which can
be very helpful in spotting bugs. If you want to contribute to
Simutrans, want to download various things to do with Simutrans,
as well as the latest version of the game, or simply just discuss
Simutrans, go to Yahoo Groups
to join Simutrans' Yahoo group and become part of the many people
that have tried and enjoyed playing Simutrans.
Subscription to the group is free. But Yahoo,
where the files and mailing list are hosted will require you to
fill out a lot of forms. Hajo is not reliable for this nor does
he have any access to this information
